Formerly a byre at Longsyke Farm, The Goose Barn was meticulously restored in 2010/11 to provide beautiful, luxurious self-catering accommodation in the heart of the rugged, unspoilt Northumberland countryside.

Overlooking fields and with a totally private garden for guests, The Goose Barn is the perfect rural retreat, a place to relax and unwind.

The barn's beautiful original features, such as flagged floors and exposed beams have been carefully restored. There is every modern convenience, including underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove; French windows open out onto a secluded terrace where meals can be taken al fresco or a barbecue can be enjoyed.

The Goose Barn is exceptionally secluded for a converted farm building, facing away from the farmhouse, giving guests a rare privacy and uninterrupted views: Hadrian's Wall itself is your horizon - you can watch the sun rise and set across its crags.
